Our aim is to provide a safe, homely environment where each resident is treated as an individual with their social, spiritual, cultural, emotional and physical needs being assessed and met by competent trained care team who realise the importance of patience, kindness and understand in creating an environment where each resident receives the love and individual care and attention they deserve.

Care & Support

Services: We provide residential care for elderly/frail as well as for dementia and have specific units to help accommodate requirements. We are registered for 40 residents and have 38 bedrooms, two of which have the capability for sharing couples.

Our Care Team: Is lead by the Home Manager Jaime Albon who has over 20 years of care management  experience. We have a care team led by a number of Senior Carers. We continually train all our care team in order to enhance every residents quality of care and ensure best practices are used. Our care team wear name badges but more specifically, the Senior Carers may be identified through their burgundy colour uniform.
We focus on providing a high standard of care at all times and as such we always value any feedback you may have at any time. Families very soon feel comfortable speaking with the Home Manager or a Senior Carer at any time.

Call Bell System & Security: All of our new bedrooms and communal areas are are fitted with the latest call bell system to seek assistance from our care team at any time of the day of night. For any resident’s that may not have the ability to use this we have other aids to integrate with this system so that we are always aware when assistance may be required. Our doors are also secured with an electronic keypad lock to provide secure entry and exit.

Your Choice: Our activities and lifestyle coordinator spends time with each resident to understand their preferences and wishes. We have an activities schedule that we use to provide a variety of activities within the home by various members of the care team from musical instruments, slow dancing, exercise and reminiscing. Alternatively you can relax in one of our many quietly spaces including the indoor garden. We are ere to provide a custom experience based on your wishes, whatever that may be.

Our delightful dining facility provides for each individual’s needs with a daily menu of mouth-watering, healthy and nutritious options to choose from. There is always a choice of main meal and choice of of sides and dessert. Beverages are served throughout the day and a self service hydration station is also available.

Special dietary needs are of course catered for based on each residents needs and preferences. Our standard meal times are as follows though snacks, and beverages are of course available at any time:

● 08:30 – Breakfast
● 10:30 – Tea, Coffee & Biscuits
● 12:30 – Lunch
● 15:00 – Tea, Coffee & Biscuits
● 17:30 – Evening Tea
● 19:00 – Night Milk with Biscuits

Our kitchen is inspected regularly by the Food Standards Agency and is rated at as very good or 5 out of 5.

Care Systems: We operate an advanced Personal Care Plan software system whereby we can asses each individuals needs for various areas including continence, communication, eating and drinking, skin condition, etc. and use the system to ensure we can ensure plans are always up to date. The care team work with families and the residents to ensure that the care provided is in keeping with the resident’s wishes whilst maintaining safe and healthy well being.

Medication Systems: Our medication is recorded electronically and connected directly to the Pharmacy systems to ensure timely medication delivery and accurate instructions.

Laundry: As part of our standard fees, laundry services is included.

Hairdressing & Podiatry: Services area available at a surcharge based on individual needs from visiting professionals including a registered hairdresser and podiatrist.

Healthcare: We have a close working relationship with our local GP Surgery and have daily visits from nurses and at least weekly visits from a GP / medical practitioner.

FeedbackWe are continually looking to improve the service we provide and welcome feedback from anyone at any time. We also regularly engage with residents and relatives to ensure there is always an opportunity to feedback on what works well and what could improve both on an individual and care home wide basis.

Availability: We welcome both self-funding and local authority clients and have a range of rooms to suite individual needs including rooms with interconnecting bedrooms or an adjoining private living room. Availability for respite rooms are usually limited and available nearer to the time.

Viewings: You can arrange an in person or remote video viewing at your convenience. Please get in touch with the Home Manager to make an appointment. We will also need to carry out an assessment in order to ensure ew can safely meet the needs of each new resident. This can sometimes be carried out remotely. It also helps ensure that we are well prepared for your arrival.

Fees: Our fees rare set depending on the room, period of stay and care needs and start from £1,000 per week depending on care needs
